Connection
Remote: https://mcp.newrelic.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Auth: a New Relic API key (User key) or OAuth 2, depending on the client. The server is in Public Preview — the tool interface may change before GA.

About 35 tools across groups:
- Generating and running NRQL queries from a natural-language description.
- Entity management — apps, hosts, services.
- APM data — transactions, errors, performance.
- Logs — search and aggregation.
- Alerts — active conditions and incidents.
Agent flow
"How many 5xx errors did the checkout service have in the last hour?", "show active alerts for production", "which entities are tied to this host?".
Limits
Public Preview: the toolset, tool names and API contract may change before general availability.
Pricing
The MCP server itself isn't billed separately; access to New Relic data follows your account's plan (Free/Standard/Pro/Enterprise) and telemetry volume limits.
