Connection

Hosted: https://mcp.resend.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth login with your Resend account). Local: npx -y resend-mcp (stdio), auth via RESEND_API_KEY from dashboard.resend.com → API Keys. Repo: github.com/resend/resend-mcp (557★).

Tools

Sending and receiving email (send_email, reading inbound mail via inbound domains), templates (list/create), contacts and audiences (create_contact, list audiences), broadcasts (create and launch a campaign), sending domains (check DNS records, add a domain).

Agent flow

"Send an order confirmation email using the template", "add this email to the Trial users audience", "check the sending domain's verification status".

Pricing

Free — 3,000 emails/month, 1 domain. Pro — from $20/month, more emails and domains. Enterprise — custom, dedicated IPs and SLA. The MCP server itself is free in both modes.

Note

An official Resend product, actively maintained. Inbound email requires a configured inbound domain on Resend's side.
