Connection
Remote: https://mcp.asana.com/sse (SSE). Auth is OAuth 2.0: the agent gets access scoped to whichever Asana user connected the integration. No package install needed — add it as a regular remote MCP endpoint in Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other clients. The current page and endpoint index is at developers.asana.com/llms.txt.
Tools
Work Graph access: search and read tasks, projects, portfolios and their statuses; create and update tasks (assignee, due date, description); work with sections and subtasks. The full MCP tool list is on Asana's "MCP Tools Reference" documentation page.
Agent flow
"Show overdue tasks in the Website Launch project and assign them to me", "summarize the Q3 Marketing portfolio — how many projects are at risk", "create a Design Review task in the project, due Friday".
Pricing
The MCP server is available on every Asana plan, including the free one; feature limits match the regular web app for that plan.
