Trello MCP
UpTrello MCP is Atlassian's official Trello server: boards, lists, cards, checklists and a built-in planner in natural language instead of manually dragging cards around. A remote HTTP endpoint, auth via OAuth 2.0 scoped to the connecting user. The server deliberately can't delete cards, only archive them, protecting data from irreversible agent actions.
Why this server
- Atlassian's official Trello MCP — boards, lists, cards and checklists in one prompt
- A built-in planner — the agent suggests a card order based on due dates
- OAuth 2.0 scopes the agent to one specific Trello user's permissions
- Deliberately no card deletion — only archiving, which lowers the risk of data loss
Usage examples
Prompt: Add a card "Approve budget" to the This Week list on the Finance board, with a 3-item checklist
Result: The agent created the card in the right list and added a 3-item checklist — without opening the Trello board.
Prompt: Archive every card in the Done list on the Sprint 9 board older than 2 weeks
Result: The agent filtered the list's cards by date and archived the matching ones — cards were moved to the archive, not deleted.
